Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Miss Kent and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 11.18am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer J Scott was fined the sum of $100.
Tennessee Gal was slow to begin. Ketchum and Sugar Hype collided soon after the start. Tennessee Gal galloped on the heels of Flossy Thelly at the 275m mark, checking Tennessee Gal and severely checking Flossy Thelly who lost ground as a result.
A sample was taken from Senor Conan - the winner of the event.
Flossy Thelly was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
