Enticed State was slow to begin.  Maybe Ninja, Snowy Benz and My Libby Dozer collided soon after the start, checking Snowy Benz.  Naughty And Nice and Maybe Ninja collided at the 275m mark.  My Libby Dozer checked off Enticed State at the 250m mark.  Snowy Benz and My Libby Dozer collided at the 225m mark, and again at the 175m mark.

Puzzle Gold, Zatrite, Dear Heather and Linda Bella were slow to begin.  Dear Heather and Linda Bella collided soon after the start.  Squirrel Benz crossed to the rail approaching the 250m mark, checking Puzzle Gold, Zatrite and Linda Bella.  Zatrite galloped on the heels of Inter Carmella at the 75m mark, checking Zatrite.

Bran Nue Koonora and Kayo Graziano were slow to begin.  Bran Nue Koonora and Kayo Graziano collided soon after the start, checking Kayo Graziano, causing Kayo Graziano to stumble.  Big Bang Marjen and Perfect Madison collided soon after the start, and again at the 150m mark.  Perfect Madison and Bran Nue Koonora collided approaching the winning post.

Rouw and Lektra Blanket were slow to begin.  Vee For Vegas and High Babe collided soon after the start.  Ninja Backman, Lektra Blanket and Jaraco collided soon after the start.  Machida crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Vee For Vegas and Machida collided approaching the 150m mark.  Machida galloped on the heels of Jaraco approaching the winning post, severely checking Machida.

Machida was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Miss Kent and no illness was detected.  The greyhound was a late scratching at 11.18am due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer J Scott was fined the sum of $100.

Tennessee Gal was slow to begin.  Ketchum and Sugar Hype collided soon after the start.  Tennessee Gal galloped on the heels of Flossy Thelly at the 275m mark, checking Tennessee Gal and severely checking Flossy Thelly who lost ground as a result.

Alpha Leva Keato and Fizadore were slow to begin, and collided soon after the start.  Charlotte Belle, Heeza Bomb Jet and Gary Groundwork collided soon after the start, checking Dipsy Do and Heeza Bomb Jet.  Gary Groundwork galloped on the heels of Charlotte Belle at the 300m mark, severely checking both greyhounds.  Dipsy Do and Heeza Bomb Jet collided at the 275m mark and again at the 250m mark.  Alpha Leva Keato and Igniter Miss collided approching the winning post.

Igniter Miss was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound was found to be on season, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Laquita Lass and Hey Rhonda collided soon after the start.  Runaway Ellie and Miss Geeves collided soon after the start.  Laquita Lass and Hey Rhonda collided at the 300m mark.  Laquita Lass clipped the heels of Hey Rhonda at the 175m mark, checking Laquita Lass, Hey Rhonda and Miss Geeves.  Boom Boom Shiraz checked off Smoken Pete at the 175m mark.

Prince Lark and Johnny Too Much were slow to begin.  George Delaker and Tiggerlong Amigo collided soon after the start, and again at the 250m mark.  George Delaker and Albo Gold colldied approaching the 150m mark, and again approaching the 100m mark, severely checking George Delaker.

George Delaker was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 10, it was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right corpus, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to A Sheppard, the trainer of George Delaker.  After viewing vision from the head on recording over the concluding stages of the event, and taking into account the interference sustained by the greyhound, Stewards took no further action. 

Scull O'Reilly and Chocolate Frog were slow to begin.  Sleeve's Revenge went up with the lids and was slow to begin, and crossed to the outside soon after the start.  Seeya Saturday crossed to the outside approaching the 200m mark.

Arizona Showman and Sultan Of Swing were slow to begin.  Arizona Showman checked off Where's Heather approaching the 200m mark, causing Arizona Showman to stumble, severely checking both greyhounds.  Buzz Torque and Hard Day's Night collided approaching the 200m mark.  Infringement, Buzz Torque and Hard Day's Night collided at the 50m mark, checking Infringement.

Easy Baby and Hard Urned Burst were slow to begin.  Crusade Marjen and Dozer Boy collided soon after the start.  Detcord and Hard Urned Burst collided at the 250m mark, checking Detcord.  Dozer Boy checked off Crusade Marjen at the 175m mark, checking Dozer Boy.  Easy Baby lost considerable ground over the concluding stages of the event.

Easy Baby was vetted following the event after pulling up distressed in the catching pen.  It was reported that the greyhound had an extremely elevated temperature and an injured left hamstring, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  

Stewards spoke to Mr P Galea, the trainer of Easy Baby.  Mr Galea advised the stewards that he would seek veterinary attention for the greyhound.

Booma Mikado and Connemara Flame collided soon after the start.  Connemara Flame and Taminick Girl collided at the 275m mark.  Brendan's Puzzle, Blue Lavros and Home Alone collided at the 250m mark, checking Blue Lavros.
