Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Hot Whirl.
Blurred Lines and Angvella were slow to begin. Sisco Fiasco crossed to the rail soon after the start and collided with Angvella; both greyhounds were checked as a result. Hot Whirl and Capullo Bale collided soon after the start. Capullo Bale, Lektra Hawk and Living Proof collided approaching the first turn. Hot Whirl, Capullo Bale, Lektra Hawk and Living Proof collided on the first turn checking Capullo Bale, Lektra Hawk, Living Proof and Cosmic Pilot. Angvella checked off Capullo Bale approaching the second turn and collided with Living Proof, severely checking Living Proof. Lektra Hawk and Sisco Fiasco collided on the second turn checking Lektra Hawk.
Living Proof was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
