Steward's Report
Rapid Incline and Deadly Clear were slow to begin. Dyna Zod and Hooksy collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Dynamo's Gift and Deadly Clear collided soon after the start checking Deadly Clear. Hooksy, Question Bale, Pappa Gallo and Dynamo's Gift collided on the first turn checking Question Bale, Pappa Gallo, Dynamo's Gift and Deadly Clear. Question Bale eased approaching the second turn and collided with Dynamo's Gift; Dynamo's Gift was checked as a result. Question Bale and Dynamo's Gift collided approaching the second turn checking Dynamo's Gift. Question Bale and Pappa Gallo collided in the back straight checking Pappa Gallo.
Question Bale was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Mr. S. Smith, the representative of the greyhound declined a re-vet.
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Smith, the representative of the greyhound Question Bale. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Question Bale with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment and suspended the greyhound for 28 days at The Meadows and directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
