Harden Bale was slow to begin. Manbo Man, Cosmic Angel and Upset Boy collided soon after the start. Zipping Felix, Manbo Man and Cosmic Angel collided approaching the first turn checking Manbo Man. Wind Whistler, Zipping Felix, Cosmic Angel, Upset Boy and Bekim Hatrick collided approaching the first turn checking Zipping Felix, Cosmic Angel, Upset Boy and Manbo Man. Harden Bale checked off Zipping Felix approaching the first turn. Cosmic Angel and Upset Boy collided approaching the second turn. Zipping Felix contacted the running rail on the third turn severely checking itself. Upset Boy and Harden Bale collided approaching the home turn.
