All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 28.6 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.5 degrees. The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

Solar Rock was slow to begin. Lights Strike and Destini Hallmark collided on the first turn checking Lights Strike. Solar Rock checked off Tinker Murphy approaching the home turn checking Tinker Murphy.

Our Girls Shout – Late scratching at 11.33am when Mr Brian Brown reported the greyhound to have a shoulder injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Code In was quick to begin. Headingly was slow to begin. Exit Speed and Amity Point collided approaching the home turn checking Exit Speed. Headingly and Amity Point collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.

Stewards spoke to Ms B.Robertson-Leech, the trainer of Out For Glory as some noticeable betting fluctuations were noted by Stewards. The comments of Ms Robertson-Leech were noted and a sample was taken for analysis.

Marrying, Tinker Joy and Dinkydi Junior collided approaching the first turn. Sweet Moments and Salience approaching home turn checking Sweet Moments. Tinker Joy, Marrying and Ava's Journey collided entering the home straight checking Tinker Joy and Marrying.

Reiko Shock was slow to begin. Bushman's Prayer was very slow to begin - 5 lengths. Belle Yakari crossed to the inside in the home straight and collided with Faint Perfume, severely checking Faint Perfume.

Call Me Molly was quick to begin. Keep The Spirit, Brizo and Dementor collided on the first turn checking Brizo. Brizo faltered and tailed off approaching the second turn.

Brizo underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 8. Brizo was found to have a right carpal wrist sprain and an injury to the right shoulder joint. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Chill Out Webby and Tinker Count collided on the first turn checking Tinker Count. Flying Jelly, Silver Compass and Chill Out Webby collided in the home straight.
