All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

In accordance with the GRV Hot Weather Policy, this meeting was deemed 'Heat Affected'.  At the commencement of kennelling, the outside temperature was 15.9 degrees and the kennel temperature was 18.6 degrees.  The Stewards continually monitored the temperature at the venue as per the GRV Hot Weather Policy. 

Salience and Aston Texan collided soon after the start checking Salience. Salience and Big Boy Duke collided soon after the start checking Big Boy Duke. Unleaded Diesel and Cephalopod Quill collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Unleaded Diesel, Salience and Aston Texas. Draconian checked off Salience on the first turn. Draconian, Big Boy Duke and Ravenous collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds. Unleaded Diesel and Aston Texan collided approaching the home turn. Big Boy Duke and Ravenous collided several times in the home straight.

Big Boy Duke – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

Illegal Way was slow to begin.

Chuck Attack and Milo Rose collided soon after the start checking Chuck Attack. Easy Breezy and Mountain Stew collided soon after the start checking Mountain Stew. Chuck Attack, Illegal Way and Mountain Stew collided approaching the first turn checking Chuck Attack and Mountain Stew. Pocket Ruby checked off Milo Rose on the first turn. Milo Rose and Eadie collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight severely checking Milo Rose.

Little Winnie, Ertugrul Bey, Lektra Nick and Princess Vegas collided soon after the start checking Little Winnie and Ertugrul Bey. Lektra Nick, Princess Vegas and Edgy Jack collided on the first turn severely checking all three greyhounds.

Lektra Nick underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Irongate with Mr. Abraham Formosa and noted his comments.

Deadly Express, Dakar and Chase The Magic collided soon after the start checking Dakar. All Inn Jasper and Irongate collided soon after the start checking Irongate. Chase The Magic and Oh Suzie collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Chase The Magic checked off Irongate on the first turn.

Irongate underwent a post-race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was found.

Kaw Liga and What's The Code collided entering the home straight severely checking What's The Code. Hold Fast Bella and Classic Gary collided in the home straight.

Invictus Benson – New declared weight of 35.5 kg, last raced at 34.1 kg.

Stellar Rising and Bingo Ringo were slow to begin.

All Inn Chester, Way To Important, Bing Ringo and Bakali George collided on the first turn checking All Inn Chester, Bingo Ringo and Bakali George. Bingo Ringo and Bakali George collided approaching the home turn. All Inn Chester and Stellar Rising collided on the home turn. Aston Tribute and Invictus Benson collided in the home straight checking Aston Tribute.

Bakali George underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer's request and was found to have a laceration to the right hind paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Beach Master – Late scratching at 08:31 due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Ms. Sharah Quinlan was fined $100.
