Out of competition samples were taken from Hamillson, Hennessey, Gypsy Bun, Kinson Bale, Robbie Rotten, Indy Fido, Titan Blazer and Indy Honey on 10 January 2022, pursuant to GAR 79A.
An out of competition sample was taken from Ultimate Avenger on 12 January 2022, pursuant to GAR 79A.
The start of this event was re-scheduled to 10.08pm.
Robbie Rotten was quick to begin. Hennessey and Gypsy Bun collided soon after the start checking Gypsy Bun. Indy Fido and Titan Blazer collided soon after the start. Kinson Bale and Indy Fido collided approaching the first turn. Hamillson, Hennessey and Ultimate Avenger collided on the home turn checking Hennessey. Hennessey and Kinson Bale collided entering the home straight. Gypsy Bun and Hamillson collided approaching the winning post.
Post race blood and urine samples were taken from Robbie Rotten - winner of the event.
Post race samples were taken from Kinson Bale (2nd) and Hamillson (3rd).
