Dr. Esther and Free Ride were quick to begin.  Black Spartacus and Kath’s Girl collided approaching the first turn.  Fearless Rory and Free Ride collided approaching the first turn.  Fearless Rory and Reality Infrared collided approaching the first turn checking Reality Infrared.  Fearless Rory and Free Ride collided on the first turn checking Free Ride.  Black Spartacus and Kath’s Girl collided on the first turn.

An out of competition sample was taken from Just. Jester on 12 January 2022, pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Dr. Seko.  A post race sample was subsequently taken.

No Anchovies was quick to begin.  Rapaki Rocks was slow to begin.  Extreme Jewel and Real Talent collided approaching the first turn.  Dr. Seko and Extreme Jewel collided on the first turn checking Extreme Jewel.  Rapaki Rocks and Extreme Jewel collided on the first turn checking Rapaki Rocks, Extreme Jewel, No Anchovies, Real Talent and Just A Jester.  Rapaki Rocks and Extreme Jewel collided on the home turn.

A sample was taken from Brother Bearing upon arrival at the course.

Party Doll was quick to begin.  Alumni was checked off Bernadette on the first turn causing Alumni and Star Night to collide, checking both greyhounds.

An out of competition sample was taken from Golden Skyrocket on 12 January 2022, pursuant to GAR 79A.

Acting in accordance with the GRV Lightning And Thunder Safety Procedure,  racing was suspended at 8.50pm due to continuous lightning strikes within the designated safety zone around the Warragul venue.  Due to safety concerns the meeting was delayed by 44 minutes and races re-scheduled accordingly.

The start of this event was re-scheduled to 9.34pm.

A pre-race sample was taken from Kraken Rover.

Uforo Bale and Kraken Rover collided approaching the first turn.  Sir Harley and Golden Skyrocket collided on the first turn checking Sir Harley, Golden Skyrocket, Kraken Rover and Gunai Rebel. Beers On Brody and Gunai Rebel collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Star Magic raced wide entering the home straight.  Sir Harley, Golden Skyrocket and Gunai Rebel raced wide in the home straight.

Star Magic underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left chest muscle, right back muscle , right triangle muscle and right groin.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Roxy Ouzo was slow to begin.  Kanji Height was checked off Kanji Giant approaching the first turn checking Jet Legger.  Kanji Giant, Jet Legger and Providence Bale collided on the first turn. Providence Bale and Jet Legger collided approaching the home turn.  Providence Bale was checked off Jet Legger in the home straight.

A post race sample was taken from Gypsy Yankee - winner of the event.

Out of competition samples were taken from Hamillson, Hennessey, Gypsy Bun, Kinson Bale, Robbie Rotten, Indy Fido, Titan Blazer and Indy Honey on 10 January 2022, pursuant to GAR 79A.

An out of competition sample was taken from Ultimate Avenger on 12 January 2022, pursuant to GAR 79A.

The start of this event was re-scheduled to 10.08pm.

Robbie Rotten was quick to begin.  Hennessey and Gypsy Bun collided soon after the start checking Gypsy Bun.  Indy Fido and Titan Blazer collided soon after the start.  Kinson Bale and Indy Fido collided approaching the first turn.  Hamillson, Hennessey and Ultimate Avenger collided on the home turn checking Hennessey.  Hennessey and Kinson Bale collided entering the home straight. Gypsy Bun and Hamillson collided approaching the winning post.

Post race blood and urine samples were taken from Robbie Rotten - winner of the event.

Post race samples were taken from Kinson Bale (2nd) and Hamillson (3rd).

Padrino Rocks - Late scratching at 6.46pm due to non-arrival (GAR 31).  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.  Ms. Debbie Bewley informed Stewards she had a vehicle breakdown en-route to the track.  Stewards advised Ms. Bewley that evidence of the breakdown will need to be submitted, to the satisfaction of Stewards, within 48 hours of the occurrence that caused the non-arrival.  The matter will be re-evaluated upon receipt of this evidence.

Andy Time and Whizbang Alice were quick to begin.  Tempting Fate and Lady Loch collided on the first turn checking Lady Loch.  Concrete Fever and Whizbang Alice collided on the first turn checking Whizbang Alice.  Tempting Fate was checked off Whizbang Alice approaching the home turn. Rag Time Griff and Elswyk Jordy collided in the home straight.

Lady Loch underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

A post race sample was taken from Andy Time - winner of the event.

The start of this event was re-scheduled to 10.47pm.

Daintree Lad was slow to begin.  Memphis Rock and Lady Lily Hook collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Sazan Bale, Memphis Rock and Lady Lily Hook collided approaching the home turn checking Sazan Bale and Memphis Rock. Big Opal Rocks galloped on Classy Kayla on the home turn severely checking Classy Kayla.  Lady Lily Hook and Memphis Rock collided on the home turn.

Classy Kayla underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right groin.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

The start of this event was re-scheduled to 11.08pm.

Trainers and attendants with runners in race 12 were given the opportunity to retrieve their greyhounds to toilet after the running of race 9 at 10.28pm.

Quintessa Bale was quick to begin.  Callum’s Capers and Variation were slow to begin.  Baby and Alecia collided soon after the start.  Variation was checked off Family Trust on the home turn.  Family Trust raced wide in the home straight.  Baby and Alecia collided approaching the winning post.
