Honeycomb – Late scratching at 10.44am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to being on season. A28 day stand down period was imposed.

Mt. View Burner was very slow to begin, 5 lengths.

Huntly Hoon and Dr. Kye collided soon after the start. Echo Chamber and Fancy Lily collided soon after the start. Dewana Be Happy and Huntly Hoon collided approaching the first turn checking Dewana Be Happy. Mt. View Burner and Yildiz Bale collided on the home turn.

Bionic Queen was quick to begin.

Rock The Planet and Dainty Leigh were slow to begin.

River Raging and Strength To Burn collided on the first turn checking River Raging. Dainty Leigh checked off River Raging on the first turn. Aranyi checked off River Raging on the home turn.

Sicilian and Lily Rose Harper were slow to begin.

Sicilian checked off Oldina Patsy approaching the first turn. Bonnie Gem checked off Silver Jett on the first turn. Lily Rose Harper and Inga Meg collided on the home turn. Lily Rose Harper and Lunation raced wide on the home turn. Inga Meg raced wide in the home straight.

Kamara Bale– Late scratching at 9.57am under GAR 37(4) on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian after the greyhound was found to be infested with fleas. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate of clearance stating the condition no longer exists before any future nomination will be accepted.

Hurricane Harry was quick to begin.

Big City Nights raced wide on the first turn. Bully Bar faltered on the first turn and tailed off as a result. Very Odd and Big City Nights raced wide in the back straight and again in the home straight.

Bully Bar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right triangle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Come On Levendi and Devon Lass collided approaching the first turn. Blazing Bandit, Heaven's Tower and Fat Cracker collided on the first turn checking Heaven's Tower. Heaven's Tower checked off Miss Button on the home turn. Heaven's Tower raced wide in the home straight.

Legasov Bale and Knock An Scratch were slow to begin.

Baby Pechey and Ready For Sea collided approaching the first turn checking Baby Pechey. Legasov Bale and Knock An Scratch collided on the first turn checking Legasov Bale. Ready For Sea and Coco To Burn collided on the first turn. Why Not Gigi raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Baggy's Gold and Mt. View Ivy were slow to begin. Bella Porscha galloped on Aston Sundance on the first turn. Baggy's Gold galloped on Mt. View Ginger on the first turn checking Mt. View Ginger, Bella Porscha and Aston Sundance. Will's Bella visibly eased approaching the home turn.

Will's Bella underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 9. Will's Bella was found to have a right quadriceps injury. A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr Colin Baker regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Will's Bella was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Baker pleaded not guilty to the charge, Will's Bella was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Star Ballerina was quick to begin.

Dewana Classic and Why Not Lilah collided soon after the start. Dewana Classic raced wide in the home straight.

Mr Leigh Carter failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve and prepare Why Not Lilah for racing.  A fine of $100 was issued pursuant to GAR 46(2).

Silver Harp and Invictus Xavier were quick to begin.

Invictus Xavier galloped on the heels of Silver Harp approaching the first turn checking Invictus Xavier and severely checking Silver Harp.

Silver Harp underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a thoraco-lumbar injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Invictus Xavier underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Why Not Rose, Cloncurry Girl and My Girl Mel were quick to begin.

Boes Bounty, My Girl Mel and Zipping Chuck collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds. My Girl Mel and Zipping Chuck collided on the home turn. Boes Bounty raced wide in the home straight.

This event was rescheduled to commence at 2.15pm from the advertised starting time of 2:04pm after the water sprinkler system was inadvertently activated from the timing app which was incorrectly set.  As a result, the track required rematting.  

A pre-race sample was taken from Violation.

Violation was quick to begin.

Highway Man and Blue Tick Erin collided on the first turn checking Blue Tick Erin and Blue Cascade.

This event was rescheduled to commence at 2.30pm from the advertised starting time of 2:22pm afterRace 11 was put back.
