Steward's Report
Sizzlin' Sanchez, Myola Knight and Riverdale Mitch were slow to begin.
Just Gab and Rock Opera collided approaching the first turn. Take A Daisy and Tinker Cindy collided approaching the first turn. Take A Daisy checked off Nyssa's Girl on the first turn causing Sizzlin' Sanchez to check off Take A Daisy: causing Take A Daisy to become unbalanced and lose ground. Rock Opera and Tinker Cindy collided approaching the home turn.
Take A Daisy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg quadriceps muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr S Jack regarding the racing manners of Take A Daisy approaching the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr S Jack, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.
