Zipping Demi was quick to begin. Gosh was slow to begin.
Eagle Boy and Blue Stingray collided soon after the start checking Eagle Boy. Gosh checked off Blue Stringray on the first turn. Eagle Boy checked off Gosh approaching the home turn checking Saint Jett. Blackpool Cruz and Winlock Moment collided in the home straight. Gosh galloped on Winlock Moment approaching the winning post and stumbled as a result.
Eagle Boy underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
