Mad Maggie checked off Joyous Hope on the first turn. Still Got Time, Mad Maggie and Maximum Shirley collided on the first turn severely checking Mad Maggie which fell as a result checking Still Got Time, Don't Try Me and Pure Mania. Still Got Time and Don't Try Me collided approaching the home turn checking Still Got Time. Still Got Time and Pure Mania collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.
Mad Maggie underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left wrist injury. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
