Essential persons (both staff & participants) attending today, provided satisfactory evidence of vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination (workers) directions, undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, observed social distance requirements, and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Ellie Bliss was slow to begin.

Flying Mercedes and White Nikita collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Flying Mercedes and Ellie Bliss collided approaching the first turn checking Flying Mercedes. Mumma's Meatball and Makayla's Diva collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Mumma's Meatball turned it's head outwards approaching the home turn and marred Makayla's Diva, severely checking both greyhounds.

Mumma's Meatball underwent a veterinary examination and was found to have a right monkey muscle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. Julie Chilcott, the representative of Mumma's Meatball regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Mumma's Meatball was charged with marring.  Mrs. Chilcott pleaded guilty to the charge, Mumma's Meatball was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Bendigo and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Maddison Rose – Late scratching at 12:55pm on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to an injury to the left thigh.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed. 

Touch Of Mint was very slow to begin (3L).

Champ Duran and Rival Wiggy collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Champ Duran, Rival Wiggy and Saint Ellie collided on the first turn checking Champ Duran and Saint Ellie. Queen Lisa and Chasing Summer collided on the home turn.

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Orson Franky with trainer Mr Mark Giddings and noted their comments.

The start of this race was delayed by 1 minute to hold for Port Lincoln gallops.

All Inn Cash was slow to begin.

Cawbourne Jean and Call Me Molly collided approaching the first turn checking Call Me Molly. Call Me Molly, Kid Tullamore and Kanji Length collided approaching the first turn checking Kid Tullamore. Call Me Molly, All Inn Cash, Kanji Length and Major Sentence collided on the first turn checking Call Me Molly and severely checking Kid Tullamore and Kanji Length.

Skibo Boy checked off Ready To Launch soon after the start. Skibo Boy and Brother Guy collided on the first turn checking Skibo Boy and severely checking Brother Guy. Boom Buster and Ready To Launch collided entering the back straight checking both greyhounds. Brizo and Bingo Ringo collided approaching the home turn checking Bingo Ringo and severely checking Brizo and Eileen Jay. Brizo and Skibo Boy collided on the home turn. Boom Buster and Eileen Jay collided on the home turn and entering the home straight.

Brother Guy underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left hind limb. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Prince Of Idol.

Seabrook Stack - underwent a veterinary examination at the trainer's request prior to racing and was passed fit to race. 

Prince Of Idol checked off Dancing Rose on the first turn. Buster's choice and Brindle Fire collided on the first turn checking Brindle FIre. Buster's Chice and Another Mirage collided in the back straight. Dancing Rose, Buster's Choice, Quicker Than Joe and Another Mirage collided on the second turn checking Quicker Than Joe and Another Mirage. Prince Of Idol and Another Mirage collided approaching the home turn and on the home turn.

Magic Marjen was very slow to begin (3L).

Sensational and Lala Juniper collided on the first turn. Magic Marjen and Lala Juniper collided approaching the home turn.

Magic Marjen – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52. 

Thundering Don checked off Aston Edwin on the first turn. Aston Edwin and Crackerjack Phil collided on the first turn checking Aston Edwin. Thundering Don and Road To Cairns collided on the first turn. Thundering Don checked off Blue Vein approaching the second turn. Annie My Mate and Blue Vein collided on the second turn checking Blue Vein. Aston Edwin and Crackerjack Phil collided on the home turn and several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.

Stewards spoke to Mr. James Arthur regarding the racing manners of Aston Edwin in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Arthur, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Tuscan Style and McIvor Jack collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Seabrook Baker, Tuscan Style, McIvor Jack and Deadly Express collided approaching the first turn checking Tuscan Style, McIvor Jack and Deadly Express. College Girl and Seabrook Baker collided approaching the first turn checking College Girl. Tuscan Style and Deadly Express collided on the first turn. Moira Rose and Bakali George collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn checking Bakali George. Wicked One, Seabrook Baker and Tuscan Style collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds.

The race meeting was suspended at 17:06pm and then abandoned at 17:32pm due to severe weather, which led to unsafe track conditions.
