Prince Of Melton – Late scratching at 10:33am when Mr Kurt Burger- Trudgett reported the greyhound to have a sesamoid injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Mr Ian Dann was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Establishment pursuant to GAR 33.

Hurricane Miss, Inga Meg and Worldwide were quick to begin. Saw Blaze, Separatist and Rogan Bale collided soon after the start checking Separatist and Rogan Bale. Hurricane Miss, Inga Meg and Worldwide collided approaching the first turn checking Hurricane Miss and Inga Meg. Separatist checked inwards off the heels of Hurricane Miss on the first turn causing Separatist to contact the running rail and subsequently fall. Draconic Lad underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have a left wrist sprain. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Separatist underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the left radius, possible fractures to the left foreleg radius, ulna, humuerus and scapula. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Indy Matilda underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Fernando's Quest underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left stifle area. No stand down period was imposed.
