Dusty Lyn was quick to begin.
Taking Notes and Quest For More collided on the first turn. Madalia Daisy and Flaming Moses collided on the second turn checking Madalia Daisy. Quest For More marred Taking Notes on the fourth turn checking Galloping Speed and Dusty Lyn. Flaming Moses and Dusty Lyn collided on the home turn. Flaming Moses and Galloping Speed collided approaching the winning post.
Quest For More underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Brayden Klemke, the representative regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the fourth turn. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Quest For More was charged with marring. Mr. Klemke pleaded guilty to the charge, Quest For More was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
A post-race sample was taken from Nimble Blaze - winner of the event.
