Steward's Report
Boston Garden and Mepunga Freda were slow to begin.
Perfectly Poised and Sir Harley collided soon after the start. Mepunga Mustang, Sir Champ and Weblec Raider collided soon after the start checking Sir Champ. Mepunga Freda and Mepunga Stellar collided on the first turn. Mepunga Mustang and Boston Garden collided on the first turn. Mepunga Mustang and Weblec Raider collided on the first turn severely checking both greyhounds.
Stewards spoke to Mr Damon Donnelly the representative of Mepunga Mustang after the greyhound left the course today without Stewards permission and without having the greyhound vetted following the event. Stewards issued Mr. Donnelly with a warning pursuant to GAR 42 (2) and directed Mr. Donnelly to produce Mepunga Mustang tomorrow at Geelong Greyhound Racing Club for a veterinary examination.
