This Event was delayed approximately 1min due to a object on the track.
Suvla Bay was quick to begin.
Orson Reiko galloped on the heels of Westar Misty on the first turn severely checking Westar Misty. Aston Mirage, Suvla Bay and On Pursuit collided on the first turn checking Suvla Bay and On Pursuit. Blackpool Cruz checked off Aston Mirage approaching the home turn. Aston Mirage and Orson Reiko collided entering the home straight.
A post-race sample was taken from Tinker Cindy - the winner of the event.
Westar Misty underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left hindleg split webbing and a left hindleg phalangeal fracture. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
Aston Mirage – Stewards were satisfied with the boxing of the greyhound and removed the boxed first endorsement for future events in accordance with GAR 52.
