Tig and Grand Warrior collided soon after the start. Rockstar Harley and Diva Dot collided approaching the first turn. Tig, Grand Warrior, Rockstar Harley and Lamotta collided approaching the first turn checking all four greyhounds. Grand Warrior and Rockstar Harley collided on the home turn checking Rockstar Harley.
Rockstar Harley underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
