Steward's Report
Locked In crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Meg Rose and severely checking Combust which stumbled. Combust checked off Prize Diamond on the first turn. Patience Pays and Bomber's Wonder collided on the first turn.
Combust underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Nathan Rooney the representative regarding the greyhounds performance. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr. Rooney to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Combust in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.
