Our Dreamer was quick to begin.

Victory Indi was quick to begin. Take A Daffodil was slow to begin.

Monster Rose crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Riverbank Jack. Run Topper, Big Bird Rose and Victory Indi collided approaching the first turn checking Victory Indi and Big Bird Rose.  Big Bird Rose crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Billy Bob Jordan and Run Topper. Monster Rose and Run Topper collided on the first turn.  Riverbank Jack and Run Topper collided in the home straight.

Just Needed Time was quick to begin.

Elswyk Storm and Scott Or Not collided soon after the start.  All For Now and Lonesome Bee collided approaching the first turn checking Lonesome Bee.  System Issues and All For Now collided on the first turn.  Elswyk Storm raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.  System Issues raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr John Lindrea regarding the racing manners of All For Now entering the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Lindrea, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

Shadow Giblet was quick to begin.  Bomber's Power was slow to begin.  

Empress Blaze and Forever A Dream collided on the second turn.

Leo Rose and Take A Rose collided approaching the first turn.  Earn The Loot and Go Rogue collided on the first turn.  Jenny Kay Rose checked off Earn the Loot in the home straight. 

Egyptian Tiger and Omega Dodge were quick to begin.

The Stewards interviewed Mr Barry Harper, the trainer of Omega Sierra in relation to the bona fides of the withdrawal from this race and noted his comments. 

Aston Noah and Dash Home collided approaching the first turn.  Hook Along Book and Zheng collided approaching the first turn.  Zheng crossed to the rail on the first turn checking Enabler, Aston Noah and Hook Along Book.  Aston Noah and Hook Along Book collided approaching the home turn. 

Madalia Mick was slow to begin.

Madalia Mick checked off Hustle Hard on the first turn.  Duke Of Airly checked off Ashby Mayhem on the first turn causing Duke Of Airly to collide with Springvale Arge, checking Duke Of Airly, Springvale Arge and Hustle Hard.  Pyrocumulus checked off Springvale Arge on the first turn.  Duke Of Airly checked off Select Charlie on the second turn.  

Pyrocumulus underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. 

Airly Liberty was quick to begin.  Deep Witts was slow to begin.

Deep Witts, Airly Liberty and Aussie Legend collided on the first turn checking Airly Liberty.  Deep Witts and Aussie Legend collided several times on the first turn.  Deep Witts and Amber Beauty collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Aussie Legend and Lacie Rose collided on the home turn checking Lacie Rose.  Amber Beauty and Lacie Rose collided in the home straight.  

Deep Witts underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.

A post-race sample was taken from Coco's Hot - winner of the event.

Locked In crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Meg Rose and severely checking Combust which stumbled.  Combust checked off Prize Diamond on the first turn.  Patience Pays and Bomber's Wonder collided on the first turn.

Combust underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Nathan Rooney the representative regarding the greyhounds performance. In accordance with GAR 75 (1), the Stewards requested Mr. Rooney to report as soon as practicable anything that may have affected the running of Combust in the event, which was not noted by Stewards during or immediately after the event.

Sweet About Lily was quick to begin.  Madalia Brodie was slow to begin.

Go Gem checked off Esfahan on the first turn.  Wee Gem and High Priority collided on the first turn.  Go Gem and Madalia Brodie collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  

Stewards spoke to Mrs Lesley Russell, the trainer of Go Gem and reminder Mrs Russell of her responsibilities to obey the starters orders pursuant to GAR 51.
