Wave Thyme was quick to begin. Oriental Thunder was slow to begin.
Wave Thyme, Miss Seaspray and Blue Dress Devil collided approaching the first turn checking Miss Seaspray. Miss Seaspray and Aladdin Miss collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Slipaway Mavis checked off Wave Thyme in the home straight.
Aladdin Miss was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right thigh. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
