All Fear and Evan's Almighty collided on the first turn, causing Evan's Almighty to stumble, checking All Inn Velvet, severely checking Flying Mercedes, Barbarian and Millie Marlaine. All Inn Velvet, Millie Marlaine and Hill Top collided on the home turn. Flying Mercedes and All Inn Velvet collided entering the home straight.

Diversify underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Mr D.Burkett was issued a warning for negligently presenting Diversify with the incorrect racing rug in accordance with GAR 86(0).

Ivanka Tea and Chill Out Berty collided soon after the start. Chuck Attack, Jack's Rose and Princess Vegas collided on the first turn, checking Chill Out Berty. Chuck Attack and Chill Out Berty collided several times in the home straight to the winning post.

Touch Of Mint – Late scratching at 6:56am when Mrs B.Harley reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Jungle Baron.

Smiling Spaniard and Blazin' Magic were slow to begin. Jungle Baron, Love Long Time and Budget Buster collided soon after the start. Jungle Baron, Love Long Time, Budget Buster and Illusional collided approaching the home turn, checking all four greyhounds. Jungle Baron crossed to the outside on the home turn, checking Budget Buster which raced wide. Jungle Baron and Love Long Time raced wide on the home turn. Jungle Baron, Love Long Time and Illusional collided entering the home straight. Jungle Baron galloped on the heels of Blazin' Magic, severely checking Blazin' Magic. 

Blazin' Magic underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left monkey muscle injury. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

It was noted that the muzzle of Blazin' Magic became dislodged during the running of the event.

Rival Karen – New declared weight of 25.6kg, last raced at 24.2kg.

Hey Cheryl – New declared weight of 30.6kg, last raced at 32.3kg.

Tay Tay Swifty, Lil Miss Shooter and Rival Karen collided on the first turn, checking all three greyhounds. Kraken Scar and Maddingley Magic collided on the first turn, checking Maddingley Magic. Keep A Bit clipped the heels of Kraken Scar on the home turn. Kraken Scar turned its head to the inside approaching the winning post. 

Rival Karen underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have injuries to the left back and right deltoid muscles. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Kraken Scar underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 12 and was found to have a left chest and left back muscle injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Mr K.Eyles regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Kraken Scar was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr Eyles pleaded guilty to the charge, Kraken Scar was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Kraken Tyson was slow to begin. Prince Archer was very slow to begin (3 lengths). Tumbarumba Time and Sassenach collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight. 

Tumbarumba Time underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a laceration to the right wrist. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr I.Beattie regarding the racing manners of Tumbarumba Time in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Mr Beattie, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, no further action was taken.
