Fernando Mila was quick to begin.

Reiko Barty and Cam's Girl collided approaching the first turn checking Cam's Girl. Royal Rufus and Cosmetic Rose collided on the first turn severely checking Royal Rufus. Cosmetic Rose and Reiko Barty collided approaching the home turn checking Reiko Barty which collided with Bobby Reiko checking Bobby Reiko. Royal Rufus raced wide in the home straight. Cosmetic Rose and Reiko Barty collided approaching the winning post.

Deed Of Shianne was slow to begin. Reiko Bingle stumbled at box rise and was very slow to begin, 3 lengths. Crusoe Kid and Reiko Haze collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Fernando Hope and False Alarm collided in the home straight checking False Alarm.

Reiko Bingle underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to falling after the finish line.  Reiko Bingle was found to have a left triangle injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Rupert's Boy was slow to begin. Blazing Pop, Claretown Jimmy and Trending Wave collided approaching the first turn checking Trending Wave. Fernando Pat clipped the heels of Tillotson approaching the first turn. Ready To Launch, Rupert's Boy, Ava's Prediction and Fernando Pat collided on the home turn. Fernando Pat and Rupert's Boy collided entering the home straight. Ava's Prediction and Fernando Pat collided entering the home straight.

Sadie Rose and Jocularity collided approaching the first turn. Innocent Gem and Squeaky Mouse collided on the first turn. Jocularity and All Inn Olivia collided on the first turn. Squeaky Mouse galloped on the heels of Got One Fernando on the home turn checking Squeaky Mouse.

Look Around and Ronnie Armo were slow to begin. Trending River and Look Around collided approaching the home turn checking Look Around. Ronnie Armo lost ground in the home straight.

Ronnie Armo underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Flying Miss was slow to begin. Top Right, All Inn Freeman and Runnin' Riot collided on the first turn checking Top Right. Work Zone and Prince Cody collided approaching the second turn checking Prince Cody. Flying Miss and Prince Cody collided on the second turn checking Flying Miss. All Inn Freeman and Work Zone collided on the home turn.

Blackjack Lee was quick to begin. College Boy was very slow to begin, 5 lengths. Sensational and Mac Zephyr collided approaching the first turn checking Mac Zephyr. Blackjack Lee and Sensational collided approaching the home turn checking Blackjack Lee. Daph's Wally and Blackjack Lee collided in the home straight checking Blackjack Lee.

Sensational underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have split webbing to the right hind foot. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Norman, Gold Black and Chloe Exotic collided approaching the first turn checking Gold Black. Gypsy Cinnamon and Cornhill Rebel collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn. Sugar Spice and Zipping Norman collided on the home turn.

A post-race sample was taken from Roxy Tequila - the winner of the event.

Ride On was quick to begin. Cross Wind was slow to begin. Harsh Jude went up with the lids at box rise and was very slow to begin, 3 lengths. Dr. Wade and Ride On collided on the first turn. Dr. Wade and Ride On collided entering the home straight. Gypsy Andy, Cross Wind, Crown Jimmy and Ultimate Mayhem collided entering the home straight checking Cross Wind. Dr. Wade eased and turned its head outwards in the home straight and collided with Ride On. Gypsy Andy and Harsh Jude collided in the home straight.

Dr. Wade underwent a post-race veterinary examination and revetted at 11:30am and was found to have shin soreness, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer, Ms N.Perkins regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Dr. Wade was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Perkins pleaded guilty to the charge, Dr. Wade was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial  in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Papa Panda and Darley Park collided soon after the start checking Darley Park. Papa Panda and Dundas Houdini collided on the first turn. Running The Wind and Madame Pookie collided on the first turn. Starchie and Blackjack Cougar collided approaching the home turn checking Starchie which collided with Dundas Houdini.

Meeting Comments:

Rezzie's Shout – In accordance with GAR 73, presented for a re-vet at the conclusion of kennelling as the greyhound was found to be injured at Bendigo on 21 July, 2021. Rezzie's Shout was examined by the on-track veterinarian and found to be free from injury. Rezzie's Shout was Cleared to race.  A sample was taken for analysis.
