Steward's Report
Mystery Planet and Cool Man Adams were slow to begin.
Tzar's Ghost and Cool Man Adams collided approaching the first turn. Cool Man Adams checked off Where's Lesley on the first turn. Tzar's Ghost and Edgy Jack collided in the home straight. Lenny's Memory visibly eased and turned it's head outwards in the home straight.
Lenny's Memory underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to trainer Mr. Rodney Lund, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Lenny's Memory was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Lund pleaded guilty to the charge, Lenny's Memory was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72,
