Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Judge J. Loudon did not act in any official capacity for this event.
Deli Allen went up with the lids at box rise and was slow to begin.
Riverside Billie and Kennel Princess collided soon after the start. Mighty Mullet crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Allen Gravion, My Boy and Southwood Dennis. Southwood Dennis, Allen Gravion and Mighty Mullet collided on the first turn checking Allen Gravion and severely checking Southwood Dennis. Allen Gravion and Kennel Princess collided approaching the home turn checking Southood Dennis, Allen Gravion, My Boy and severely checking Kennel Princess which stumbled and lost ground as a result.
Kennel Princess was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to both thighs, the left rump, the left triceps, the left forearm and a spike wound on the left toe. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
