Derby Lee and Bernmar Percy were quick to begin. Flynn O'Malley was slow to begin.
Eumeralla Fiona and Eumeralla Donna collided soon after the start. Palermo Girl checked off Lavie Belle soon after the start. Derby Lee crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Kilcolegan Cross. Palermo Girl and Flynn O'Malley collided on the first turn checking Palermo Girl and Eumeralla Fiona. Flynn O'Malley galloped on the heels of Derby Lee approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Eumeralla Donna faltered approaching the home turn and tailed off as a result. Palermo Girl and Eumeralla Fiona collided in the home straight. Palermo Girl raced wide in the home straight.
Eumeralla Donna was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right shoulder. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
