Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face-masks, observed social distance requirements and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.

Saint Bogan was slow to begin. 

Oseye Bale, Rev Up Helen and White Nikita collided soon after the start.  Crystal Opal and Darley Lass collided on the first turn, checking Darley Lass.  Lap To Far and Majestic Stella collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn.  

Mr S. Iuele, the handler of Majestic Stella was issued a warning in that he made contact with the rear of the boxes after boxing the greyhound pursuant to GAR 51(10)(c).

A post-race sample was taken from Oseye Bale - the winner of the event.

Stella's Memory and Unique Faith were quick to begin.  

Fernando Mila and Drop The Hammer collided soon after the start.  Exford Norm checked off Aston Trump soon after the start.  Fernando Mila, Aston Trump and Still In Love collided approaching the first turn.  Mystical Heist and Aston Trump collided entering the home straight.  Stella's Memory and Still In Love collided several times approaching the winning post.  

Stella's Memory underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.  Stewards spoke to Mr T. Boehmke, the trainer of Stella's Memory regarding its performance approaching the winning post.  Stewards deemed the performance unsatisfactory, acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stella's Memory must perform a Satisfactory Trial pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Violet Rose was quick to begin.  Divine Calling was slow to begin. 

Fernando Pat and Pyrenees Prada collided approaching the first turn.  Yareli Bale raced wide on the home turn.  Fernando Flop and Butterfly Indee collided entering the home straight.  Fernando Pat and Aston Xavier collided in the home straight.  Pyrenees Prada and Butterfly Indee collided several times approaching the winning post.

Orson Reiko and Things You Do collided soon after the start.  Slingshot Trojan and Fernando Louise collided approaching the first turn.  Miss Button, Tinker Gypsy, Frenando Alessia and Slingshot Trojan collided on the first turn, checking Miss Button.  Orson Reiko and Things You Do raced wide on the home turn. 

Miss Button underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

The Stewards discussed the frequency of racing of Meatball Soup with Mr J. Abela and noted his comments.

Bad Bailey, Blackjack Lee, Capitis and Meatball Soup collided soon after the start, checking Meatball Soup and severely checking Capitis.  Joyous Moment checked off Bad Bailey on the first turn.  Joyous Moment, Myola Dawn and Meatball Soup collided approaching the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. 

Meatball Soup underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion to the left tibia. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Alfie Solomon was slow to begin. 

Push Start, Take A Rose and Tinker Cindy collided soon after the start.  Rogue Temptation checked off Aston Cinnamon on the first turn.  Blacklack Cougar and Tinker Cindy collided approaching the home turn. 

An out-of-competition sample was taken from Zipping Petra on 28 July, 2021.

Short Deuce – Late scratching at 10:07 am on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to a laceration of the right shoulder.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards subsequently contacted Trainer, Ms B. Kinder, and advised that Stewards invoked GAR20(3)(v) and will require a veterinary certificate of clear health before any further nominations will be accepted.

Fascinate Candy and Joyous Courage were quick to begin.  Zanfrey Bale was slow to begin. 

Potato Sunrise and Sadie Rose collided soon after the start.  Fascinate Candy and Joyous Courage collided approaching the winning post.

Stewards discussed the frequency of racing for Crackerjack Lach with trainer Mr Paul Hammerstein and noted his comments.

Crumb Snags was slow to begin. 

Bissaka Spider and Lightning Gadget collided approaching the first turn, checking Bissaka Spider.  Daph's Wally checked off Crumb Snags on the first turn, checking Lightning Gadget. Lightning Gadget and Send It Socks collided on the home turn causing Send It Socks to race wide. 

Mr R. Walsh was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Rowchester Patty pursuant to GAR 33.

Dr. Wade was quick to begin.  Ronnie Armo was slow to begin.  

Rowchester Patty and Electro Guru collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds.  Electro Guru and Rowchester Sugar collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Electro Guru which tailed off.

Electro Guru underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right fore carpal sprain and monkey muscle injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Toyed was slow to begin. 

Friesian Flyer, Tiger Blurton and Cornhill Rebel collided on the first turn, checking Tiger Blurton.  Tiger Blurton checked off Frothy's Friday on the second turn.  It was noted that Toyed raced wide throughout the event. 

Toyed underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported.
