Steward's Report
All Out was quick to begin. Opal Key and Zulu Sparrow collided soon after the start checking Opal Key. Zipping Tedesco turned its head outwards entering the home straight and collided with All Out. Zipping Tedesco and All Out collided several times in the home straight.
Zipping Tedesco underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the left hock. A 3 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to representative, Mrs. Heather Collins regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Zipping Tedesco was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mrs. Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Tedesco was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
