All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Campbell.

Holly’s Entity was quick to begin.  Holly’s Entity raced ungenerously in the back straight.  Holly’s Entity was checked off Zipping Campbell on the first turn.  Holly’s Entity and Bennachie Miss collided on the first turn.  Holly’s Entity crossed out on the home turn and checked off Zipping Campbell. Holly’s Entity and Zipping Campbell collided entering the home straight.  Holly’s Entity raced ungenerously in the home straight.

Holly’s Entity underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Stewards spoke to Ms. Lyn Smith regarding the racing manners of Holly’s Entity in the back straight and in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Ms. Smith, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards took no further action.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Dan Dan.  A post race sample was subsequently taken. 

Zipping Viking and Sandstorm Rico were slow to begin.  Zipping Viking and Dan Dan collided approaching the home turn.

All Out was quick to begin.  Opal Key and Zulu Sparrow collided soon after the start checking Opal Key.  Zipping Tedesco turned its head outwards entering the home straight and collided with All Out. Zipping Tedesco and All Out collided several times in the home straight.

Zipping Tedesco underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an abrasion on the left hock.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to representative, Mrs. Heather Collins regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Zipping Tedesco was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mrs. Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Tedesco was found guilty and must perform a satisfactory trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72,  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Throw Caution was quick to begin.  Jet Like Rico was slow to begin.  Flywheel Bella and Release The Rage collided on the first turn.  Jet Like Rico raced wide in the home straight.

Miss You Emma and Archie’s Entity collided approaching the first turn.  Django Maskiell and Aston Jazz collided approaching the first turn.  Django Maskiell, Aston Jazz and Blair’s Rex collided on the first turn.  Django Maskiell was checked off Blair’s Rex on the first turn.  Django Maskiell raced wide in the home straight.

Jefferson County was quick to begin.  Flying Surprise and Orson Thunder were slow to begin.  Orson Thunder was checked off Narcissus on the first turn.  Flying Surprise was checked off Orson Thunder on the  first turn,  Cosmic Roy raced wide on the home turn.

A post race sample was taken from Jefferson County - winner of the event.

Billy Bob Jordan and Flying Fox were quick to begin.  Aqua Edie was slow to begin.  Billy Bob Jordan and Joe’s Entity collided soon after the start.  Joe’s Entity and Flying Fox collided approaching the first turn.  Malo Magic was checked off Bus Driver on the first turn checking Aqua Edie.  Zipping Chew was checked off Bus Driver approaching the home turn.

Fractured was slow to begin. That’ll Do Neo and Noah Charles collided soon after the start.  Extreme Harriet was checked off Lara’s Love approaching the first turn.  Fractured was checked off Desert Flame on the first turn,  Fractured and That’ll Do Neo collided entering the home straight.  Fractured, That’ll Do Neo and Noah Charles raced wide in the home straight.

A pre-race sample was taken from My Boy Charlott.

Master Bohanon was slow to begin.  My Boy Charlott and Calabrian collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn.  Calabrian faltered on the home turn and tailed off as a result.  Jam Jam was checked off Calabrian on the home turn.

Calabrian underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left hock amd left stifle.  A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track on the home turn and were satisfied it was satisfactory for racing.

Mr. John Jarkis requested an early race endorsement for Ryan’s Pick.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on track Veterinarian.  Ryan’s Pick will compete in early races until further notice.

Gecko Fernando was slow to begin.  Mechanic’s Kismet and Just Saying collided soon after the start.  Team Staffing and Mechanics Kismet collided on the first turn severely checking Mechanic’s Kismet.  Team Staffing raced wide in the home straight.

Mechanic’s Kismet underwent a post race veterinary examination and no appatrent injury was reported.

Bit Shakey was quick to begin.  Noble Stone and Hurricane Pat collided soon after the start.  Good Boy Colombo crossed out approaching the first turn checking Jasper Bale.  Hurricane Pat and Burst The Limit collided on the first turn.  Noble Stone crossed out on the home turn and checked off No Anchovies.

A pre-race sample was taken from Hot Diesel.

Run To You and Captain Cruiser collided soon after the start.
