A pre-race sample was taken from Dancing Cassie.
Dancing Cassie was quick to begin. Deadly Express and Parumba rebel were slow to begin.
Ernie All Sorts and Deadly Express collided approaching the first turn. Reiko Bolt, Inga Luna and Ernie All Sorts collided approaching the first turn. Ernie All Sorts faltered on the first turn and tailed off. Joyous Courage and Parumba Rebel collided approaching the home turn. Reiko Bolt and Joyous Courage collided approaching the winning post.
Dancing Cassie underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. Stewards spoke to Mr Eddie Lieshout regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Lieshout, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.
Ernie All Sorts underwent a post-race veterinary examination was found to have a right hock fracture. A 90 day stand down period was imposed.
