Stewards spoke to Mr Eddie Lieshout regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  After hearing evidence from Mr. Lieshout, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the first turn.

Ernie All Sorts underwent a post-race veterinary examination was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed. 

Rock Opera was quick to begin.

High Eden Freddy and Aston Jansz collided soon after the start checking High Eden Freddy.  Aston Kayee, King Kaboom and Maximum Coco collided on the first turn checking King Kaboom and Maximum Coco.  Aston Kayee checked off Rock Opera on the home turn causing Aston Jansz to race wide.  

King Kaboom underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have split webbing to the left hind foot.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Mr Mark Giddings requested an early race endorsement for Shanlyn Bear.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on-track veterinarian.  Shanlyn Bear will compete in early races until further notice.
