Riverdale Bonnie and Double Tactic were slow to begin.
Teddy Logan, Slingshot Sudoku and Smirkey collided approaching the first turn. Teddy Logan and Smirkey collided approaching the first turn. Teddy Logan checked off Smirkey Logan approaching the home turn. Double Tactic and Peaky Pub collided on the home turn. Speedy Blue and Slingshot Sudoku collided several times in the home straight.
Teddy Logan underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right groin muscle injury. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Ms. M Turner regarding the racing manners of Speedy Blue in the home straight. After hearing evidence from Ms Turner, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.
Spearhead Joe – Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.
