Another Easy – Late scratching at 10:43 am when Mr Jason Portelli reported the greyhound to have hip soreness (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A pre-race sample was taken from Crown Jimmy.
Crown Jimmy and Parasite were quick to begin. Riverdale Bear was slow to begin.
Crown Jimmy and Lil Snooze collided on the first turn.
Loch underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury. A five day stand down period was imposed.
