All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

A pre–race sample was unable to be obtained from Rothwell Horse, a post–race sample was subsequently taken.

Speedy Cashew and Mo City collided soon after the start.  Rothwell Elzinga, Barooga Gal and Deadly Dream collided soon after the start.  Mo City and Deadly Dream collided approaching the first turn.  Speedy Cashew and Rothwell Elzinga collided on the first turn; checking Rothwell Elzinga and Deadly Dream.  Mo City and Deadly Dream collided approaching the home turn.

Master Molloy – Late scratching at 1:36 pm due to weight variation (GAR 39).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Trainer, Mr Mark McClelland was fined $100.00.

Miss Pistolero – New declared weight of 28.6 kg, last raced at 29.8 kg.

Yeah Sweetie and Jake Scar collided approaching the first turn.  Balts Assassin and Jake Scar collided approaching the home turn.  Jake Scar checked off Zipping Dudley on the home turn.

Jake Scar underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a chest wound.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A post-race sample was taken from Miss Pistolero - the winner of the event.

A pre-race sample was taken from Crackerjack Dean.

Riverdale Poppy was slow to begin.

Riverdale Poppy and Baffling collided approaching the first turn, checking Riverdale Poppy.  Crackerjack Dean and Set Me Free collided on the first turn, checking Crackerjack Dean.  Set Me Free and Red Spur Flyer collided approaching the home turn, checking Set Me Free.  Crackerjack Dean and Stormy Lights collided in the home straight.

Saint Bluey was slow to begin.

Two Up Tommy and Silver Compass collided on the first turn; checking Two Up Tommy and Battlers Three.  Battlers Three checked off Two Up Tommy approaching the home turn.  Pete Cabang raced wide approaching the home turn, checking Battlers Three.

Reiko Bingle was slow to begin.

Tinker Yvonne, Super Sparkle and Joe Baker collided on the first turn, checking Joe Baker; severely checking Super Sparkle.

Tinker Count and Reiko Oreo were slow to begin.

Reiko Oreo checked off the heels of Our Girl Bailee approaching the first turn. Miss Rose Water and Misty Rainbow collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  Reiko Oreo and Exclusively Mine raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Kennel Representative, Mr R. Coleman regarding the racing manners of Reiko Oreo approaching the first turn.  Mr Coleman advised Stewards that the greyhound's usual pattern is to race to the outside of the track.  After hearing evidence from Mr Coleman, viewing all the available race footage and acting on their observations, Stewards were satisfied that the greyhound had only checked off the heels of Our Girl Bailee and was looking to race wider on the track.  No further action was taken.

Lonely Jenny and Pure Mania were quick to begin.

Reiko Shock and Weeona Evie collided on the first turn; severely checking Reiko Shock.

Blue Entourage and Legal Bud collided on the first turn, checking Legal Bud; severely checking Blue Entourage.

Evident and Raquea's Dream collided on the first turn, checking Evident.  Reiko Cleo and Sizzlin' Sanchez collided on the first turn; severely checking both greyhounds.  Reiko Cleo raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.

It was noted that the muzzle of Reiko Cleo became dislodged during the running of the event.

Another Easy – Late scratching at 10:43 am when Mr Jason Portelli reported the greyhound to have hip soreness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Crown Jimmy and Parasite were quick to begin.  Riverdale Bear was slow to begin.

Crown Jimmy and Lil Snooze collided on the first turn.

Loch underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was found to have a right foreleg monkey muscle injury.  A five day stand down period was imposed.
