All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Thybulle Bale was quick to begin.  Ron’s Hope was slow to begin.

Ron’s Lament was slow to begin.  Noble Stone and Lady Jayde collided soon after the start.  Brock’s Flyer shifted out approaching the first turn and collided with My Maximus checking Brock’s Flyer, My Maximus and Lady Jayde.  Brock’s Flyer galloped on Lady Jayde on the first turn.  Brock’s Flyer faltered approaching the home turn.  Manuka Boy shifted out entering the home straight and collided with Brock’s Flyer checking both greyhounds.

Brock’s Flyer underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left wrist.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

My Maximus - Proved difficult to box and will be boxed first in future events in accordance with GAR 52.

An out of competition sample was taken from Tail's Up on 18/2/2022 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from Staines.

Tail’s Up and Rusty Kingswood were quick to begin.  Coalville Girl was slow to begin.  Rusty Kingswood and Staines collided approaching the first turn.  Tail’s Up and Staines collided on the first turn checking Staines.

Dundee Velvet underwent a post race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was found to have a spike wound on a left front toe.  No stand down period was imposed.

An out of competition sample was taken from Ballymac Vicar on 18/2/2022 pursuant to GAR 79A.

Ballymac Vicar was slow to begin.  Ballymac Vicar faltered in the back straight and pulled up as a result.

Ballymac Vicar underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left monkey muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Following the running of this event, Stewards inspected the track in the back straight and were satisied it was satisfactory for racing.

A pre-race sample was taken from Get A Job.

Taking Notes and Leeky Lee collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Get A Job was checked off Inga Ollie approaching the first turn.  Hendrik Bale and Compton Blazer collided on the home turn.  

Stewards spoke to Mr. Kyle Brooks regarding the racing manners of Inga Ollie on the home turn. After hearing evidence from Mr. Brooks, viewing all the available video footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Long Black Lass.

Aston Lights was quick to begin.  Mow A Meadow was slow to begin.  Mystify Kick was checked off Long Black Lass approaching the first turn.  Mystify Kick and Long Black Lass collided on the first turn checking Mystify Kick, severely checking Long Black Lass and Mow A Meadow.  

Long Black Lass underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

A pre-race sample was taken from Nova's Way.

Hot Shaynna and Indy’s Happy were quick to begin.  Throw Caution was slow to begin.  Ripplebrook Rory and Nova’s Way collided approaching the first turn checking Ripplebrook Rory.  My Faith and Ha Ha Magoo collided on the first turn severely checking My Faith and Throw Caution.  My Faith and Indy’s Happy raced wide in the home straight.

Tiger Blurton, Not Happening and Bell Burner were quick to begin.  Tiger Blurton and Not Happening collided on the first turn and again approaching the second turn.  So Predictable and Just Augusta collided on the third turn.

A post race sample was taken from Bell Burner - winner of the event.

Enabler was quick to begin.  Digitorum lost ground approaching the first turn.  Kelsey Bale and Enabler collided on the home turn.  Total Babe raced wide in the home straight.  

Digitorum underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured left back muscle. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.

A post race sample was taken from Gold Skulltula - winner of the event.

Lavish Diamond was quick to begin.  Armatree Arrow and Bean’s Multi collided on the first turn.

My Gem was quick to begin.  Rogan Bale and Courteous Reiko were slow to begin.  Eau De Vie and Fab Rocket collided approaching the first turn.  Rogan Bale and Courteous Reiko collided entering the home straight.  My Gem and Voodoo Spirit raced wide in the home straight.

Deedee’s Charm was quick to begin.  Manila Shine was slow to begin.  Matchbox Queen and El Fernanda collided soon after the start.  Matchbox Queen and Violet Rose collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn.  Manila Shine was checked off Go Saints Go on the first turn.
