All persons attending today undertook successful health screenings, wore facemasks, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

The start was delayed by approximately 1 minute due to holding for Sunshine Coast Thoroughbreds race 1.

It was noted that the muzzle of Coconut Kingston became dislodged during the running of the event.

Winkcup Bale, Ximena Bale and Hummock were quick to begin.  Sugar Boloney was slow to begin.

Shanlyn Bear underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the trainer’s request and was found to have a dislocated toe to the left front foot.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Vermont Bale and Union Man collided soon after the start checking Union Man.  Maximum Shirley, Winnington Bale and Into The Shed collided soon after the start.  Vermont Bale and Crackerjack Pop collided approaching the first turn.  Maximum Shirley checked off Crackerjack Dean approaching the first turn.  Crackerjack Pop and Winnington Bale collided on the first turn checking Crackerjack Pop, Winnington Bale and Crackerjack Dean.  Maximum Shirley checked off Crackerjack Dean on the second turn.  Crackerjack Dean checked off Winnington Bale entering the back straight.  Union Man galloped on Vermont Bale in the back straight.  Union Man and Vermont Bale collided several times in the back straight checking Union Man.  Crackerjack Pop checked off Crackerjack Dean on the third turn.  Vermont Bale and Union Man collided on the home turn and again approaching the winning post.

Feel The Rhythm underwent a post-race veterinary examination due to an incident in the catching pen and was found to have cramping and a left triangle injury.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

El Cazador and White Flower collided on the first turn and again approaching the home turn checking White Flower.  Icarus Bale raced wide in the home straight. 

Bill Bob Lad and Spring Bjorn were quick to begin.  Downstream was slow to begin.
