A pre-race sample was taken from Quick Shadow.
Soleus and Quick Shadow collided soon after the start. Soleus, Quick Shadow and Alfie Solomon collided at the 300m mark severely checking Quick Shadow. Soleus and Alfie Solomon collided at the 250m mark checking Alfie Solomon. Demon Flyer checked off Soleus at the 100m mark. Quick Shadow and Demon Flyer collided at the 100m mark and again at the 50m mark.
