Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Pumping Air.
Elswyk Sky and Aston Syrah collided soon after the start. Dundee Ziron, Short Fine Leg and Prada Gem collided soon after the start checking Short Fine Leg. Pumping Air and Soldier collided approaching the first turn checking Pumping Air. Airly Liberty, Short Fine Leg and Prada Gem collided approaching the home turn. Pumping Air, Short Fine Leg and Prada Gem collided entering the home straight checking Pumping Air severely checking Short Fine Leg and Prada Gem.
Short Fine Leg underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hind dislocated toe. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Elswyk Sky - the winner of the event.
There was no head on vision of the back straight for this event.
