Steward's Report
Due to a malfunction of the boxes, this race was hand started.
Tat Yummy, Cairnlea Winnie, Got To Construct, Pablo's Star and Huntly Flyer collided on the first turn checking Tat Yummy, Cairnlea Winnie, Got To Construct, Pablo's Star and All Inn Scooby. Huntly Flyer turned it's head outwards and marred Moonshine Miss approaching the winning post.
Huntly Flyer underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have ainjuries to the left monkey muscle and left shoulder. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Mr. Jye Formosa, the representative of Huntly Flyer regarding the greyhound’s racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(1) Huntly Flyer was charged with marring. Mr. Formosa pleaded guilty to the charge, Huntly Flyer was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69(2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.
