Steward's Report
Essential persons (both Staff & Participants) attending today, undertook successful health screenings, wore face-masks, observed social distance requirements and adhered to room density quotients that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue for exclusive race-day functions and operations.
Greysynd Awe, Fancy Lily and Ruby Yap collided approaching the first turn checking Greysynd Awe, Fancy Lily and Combined Six. Combined Six raced wide on the home turn and collided with Greysynd Awe checking both greyhounds. Little Miss Me and Ruby Yap collided on the home turn checking Ruby Yap. Fancy Lily checked off Ruby Yap on the home turn.
Combined Six underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found yo have injuries to the right back muscle and right quadriceps. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards issued a warning pursuant to GAR 27(1) to Mr. Dale Chapman after the greyhound, Fancy Lily escaped in the wash bays following Race One. After hearing submissions from Mr. Chapman a warning was issued in accordance with GAR 27(1).
