A pre-race sample was taken from Flying Brae.
Half A Double – Late scratching at 14:54 on the advice of the On–Track Veterinarian (GAR 37) due to escaping from the handler in the parade yard and suffered from pre-race exhaustion.
Stewards spoke to Mr L. Lacy the trainer of Half A Double and reminded him to ensure the greyhound was correctly re-strained in the future.
Filorga Bale and Kaiden were quick to begin.
