All staff & participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing and catching greyhounds. 

Gypsy Seymour – Late scratching at 2.35 pm when Ms. A. Dailly reported the greyhound to have diarrhoea (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate pursuant to GAR 20(3)(v) before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Heinrich representing Ms. A. Dailly regarding the late scratching of Gypsy Seymour (Race 1) and Zippy Yamaha (Race 4) this afternoon. Ms. Heinrich stated that both greyhounds had diarrhoea throughout the afternoon and as a precaution both greyhounds were scratched. Ms. Heinrich added that all other runners presented tonight were, in her opinion, fit to race. Stewards also observed at kennelling the weights of all greyhounds presented with no distinct variance noted.  

Revolution and Fabriola Zero were slow to begin.

A sample was taken from Amnesty at the trainer’s kennel earlier today. 

Trending Striker was slow to begin.

Fabriola Bauer and Gypsy Rock were quick to begin. Fabriola Yanis was very slow to begin. (3 lengths)

Cindy Fuso and Rocket Power were quick to begin.

Trendy Touchdown checked off Black Imani on the first turn. Black Imani and Rocket Power raced wide on the home turn. Cindy Fuso and Aston Marvel collided in the home straight. Rocket Power raced wide in the home straight.

Tiberia Bale was quick to begin.

Dundee Jester, Two Up Tommy, Boom Out and Tiberia Bale collided soon after the start. Dundee Jester and Boom Out collided approaching the first turn checking Belena Blaze. Dundee Jester and Belena Blaze collided approaching the first turn checking Dundee Jester. Dundee Jester and Boom Out collided on the first turn checking Dundee Jester. Belena Blaze checked off Lektra Loopy in the home straight causing Belena Blaze to race wide as a result.

The start of this race was delayed by approximately two minutes to allow staff to clear the track of wildlife.

El Cazador was slow to begin.

Radek Bale, Disco Riot and Aratuza Bale collided soon after the start. Yeah Easy, Family Trust and Spring Cobra collided on the first turn checking Family Trust. Jessie's Brew and Tillotson collided soon after the start. Winlock At Large, Coco Tiger and McTavish collided soon after the start. Jessie's Brew and Tillotson collided approaching the first turn.  Tillotson checked off Winlock At Large on the first turn. Jessie's Brew checked off Winlock At Large approaching the home turn checking Tillotson and Red On Red. Jessie's Brew checked off McTavish on the home turn. Calix Bale, Zippy Volkswagon and Jet Legger collided approaching the first turn checking Jet Legger. Jet Legger checked off Zippy Volkswagon approaching the home turn. Ozark Bale raced wide in the home straight.

Indy's Happy was quick to begin.

Gunai Outlaw underwent a post-race veterinary examination - no apparent injury was reported. 

Loretta Bale and Winlock Dyno were quick to begin.

Merry Lass and Prinny Arandt collided soon after the start. Loretta Bale and Name Me Nelly collided approaching the first turn. Pai Gow Poker and Prinny Arandt collided on the first turn checking Pai Gow Poker and Aston Shadow. Prinny Arandt and Canya Dig It collided on the home turn. 

Prinny Arandt underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right wrist injury. A 28 day stand down period was imposed.
