All staff and participants attending the race meeting wore face masks at all times when inside the kennel block and associated buildings, and when engaged in the exclusive race day functions of boxing and catching greyhounds.

The closing time of kennelling was altered in accordance with GAR 31, due to the late arrival of several trainers who experienced significant traffic delays on–route to the track.  The kennels closed at 6:52pm.

Trickity Click was quick to begin.  Florentino was slow to begin. Champ Cheese and Tony Tells Tales collided approaching the first turn, on the first turn and again approaching the home turn.  My Name's Lindy, Champ Cheese and Tony Tells Tales collided on the home turn.  My Name's Lindy and Tony Tells Tales collided several times in the home straight checking both greyhounds.  

An out of competition sample was taken from Gem Victorem on 30 June 2021 pursuant to GAR 79A.

A pre-race sample was taken from He's A Rebel.

Axedale Pirate and Rock Icon were slow to begin. Gem Victorem and He's A Rebel collided soon after the start checking He's A Rebel.  Gunai Fay turned its head outwards towards Snow Flake soon after the start checking Snow Flake.  Gunai Fay and Gem Victorem collided approaching the first turn severely checking Gem Victorem.  Snow Flake checked off Axedale Pirate on the first turn checking He's A Rebel.  Gunai Fay and Global Jewel collided approaching the home turn checking Gunai Fay and Princess Vegas.  Gunai Fay and Snow Flake collided approaching the home turn.  

Stewards spoke to Mr Mark Filomeno, the trainer of Gunai Fay who declined to have the greyhound vetted, regarding the greyhound’s racing manners soon after the start.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69A(1) Gunai Fay was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr. Filomeno pleaded guilty to the charge, Gunai Fay was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69A (2) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Smokin' Zag was quick to begin. All Inn Cash was slow to begin. Jungle Baron and Mystical Heist collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Jungle Baron raced wide on the home turn and entering the home straight. 

A post-race sample was taken from Smokin' Zag - winner of the event. 

Mr Lee Moore was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Rocco pursuant to GAR 33.

Crown Jimmy, Rocco and Bongino collided approaching the first turn checking Bongino.  Clover Kisses, Super Sparkle and Crown Jimmy collided on the first turn checking Crown Jimmy.  Gregarious and Matilda Flyer collided approaching the home turn checking Gregarious.  Clover Kisses contacted the running rail approaching the home turn severely checking Clover Kisses.  Gregarious and Matilda Flyer collided entering the home straight and again in the home straight.  

Clover Kisses underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hamstring injury.  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  

A post-race sample was taken from Bern's Ability - winner of the event.

Our Fabio, Itchy Kaala and Tobin Frost were slow to begin. Burning Amy crossed to the inside soon after the start checking All Inn Toffee and Kraken Pearler.  All Inn Toffee and All Inn Maggie collided approaching the first turn.  Eternal Ten, Kraken Pearler and Burning Amy collided on the first turn checking Kraken Pearler, Tobin Frost and Burning Amy.  Burning Amy and All Inn Maggie collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Kraken Pearler and Tobin Frost collided approaching the home turn.  All Inn Toffee, Kraken Pearler and Tobin Frost collided approaching the home turn.  All Inn Toffee and Kraken Pearler collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  Kraken Pearler and Burning Amy collided in the home straight.  

My Name's Craig, Greysynd Shock, Jodie's Boy and Invictus Jaxson collided on the first turn checking Greysynd Shock.  Iceni Hunter and Murray Nan collided on the home turn.  

A post-race sample was taken from Alfie Alligator - winner of the event.

McIvor Stretch was slow to begin. Ching Ching checked off All Inn Ava soon after the start.  Ching Ching raced wide approaching the first turn.  All Inn Ava, McIvor Bluey and Run Baba Run collided on the first turn checking all three greyhounds.  All Inn Ava galloped on McIvor Bluey approaching the home turn checking McIvor Bluey.  

Fernando Bluey was quick to begin. Sonny Daze, Royal Gossip, Katey Penny and Market Legend collided on the first turn checking Sonny Daze, severely checking Royal Gossip, Katey Penny and Market Legend.  

A post-race urine and blood sample was taken from Ferdinand Boy - winner of the event (New Track Record 21.311). 

A pre-race sample was taken from Shanlyn Bear.
