All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Calabrian was quick to begin.  Intrepid Cruiser was slow to begin.  Zipping Tedesco crossed out on the first turn checking Zipping Campbell and Zipping Mariah.  Zipping Campbell and Zipping Mariah collided on the home turn.  Zipping Tedesco and Calabrian collided in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mrs. Heather Collins regarding the racing manners of Zipping Tedesco in the home straight.  After hearing evidence from Mrs. Collins, viewing all available race footage and acting on their observations, a warning was issued regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight.

Impress Browning was slow to begin.  Maxed Out and Audacious Stell collided soon after the start. Thybulle Bale and Winry Bale collided on the first turn.  Aston River and Audacious Stell collided on the first turn.  Good Boy Colombo and Impress Browning collided on the home turn.  Impress Browning crossed in in the home straight and collided with a Good Boy Colombo checking both greyhounds, Good Boy Colombo fell as a result.

Good Boy Colombo underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a injured thoracic-lumbar and right groin.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

It’s A Drama was quick to begin.  Speedy Villain was slow to begin.  Zipping Chew and Speedy Villain collided on the first turn.  It’s A Drama, Jen Jumbo Prawn collided on the first turn checking Jen Jumbo Prawn.

A post race sample was taken from Lavish Diamond - second placegetter in the event.

Throw Caution was quick to begin.  Mr. Neo was slow to begin.  Gold Driller was checked off Throw Caution soon after the start.

A sample was unable to be obtained from Trenzalore upon arrival at the course; a pre-race sample was subsequently taken. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Boom Lateral. 

Blazin’ Sushi was quick to begin. Sore Loser and Trenzalore were slow to begin.  Boom Lateral and Darnum Diva collided soon after the start.  Boom Lateral and Sore Loser collided on the first turn checking Sore Loser.  Blazin’ Sushi and Forever A Dream collided several times on the second turn checking Blazin’ Sushi.  Boom Lateral clipped the heels of Trenzalore entering the back straight, Boom Lateral stumbled as a result. Blazin’ Sushi was checked off Sore Loser on the third turn. Darnum Diva and Boom Lateral collided several times entering the home straight.  Forever A Dream was checked off Trenzalore in the home straight.

Charango and Aston Jive were slow to begin.  Cosmic Roy and Aston Jive collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Afternoon and Fancy Like raced wide in the home straight.

Orson Thunder was slow to begin.  Hurricane Keely and Annabelle Rocks collided approaching the first turn.  Lara’s Love and Allan Coe collided on the first turn checking Lara’s Love. Nathan Ryder and Annabelle Rocks raced wide in the home straight.  Annabelle Rocks and Lara’s Love collided approaching the winning post.  

Leeky Lee was checked off Chatterbox Tilly soon after the start.  Enabler crossed out soon after the start and collided with Jack’s A Cracker.  Enabler crossed out entering the home straight and collided with Hendrik Bale.  Jack’s A Cracker raced wide entering the home straight and in the home straight.

Archie’s Entity underwent a pre-race veterinary examination at the request of the trainer and was passed fit to race.

Wilma Rudd was quick to begin.  Archie’s Entity and Wilma Rudd collided approaching the first turn checking Archie’s Entity.  Wilma Rudd, Tennessee Plates, Aston Jazz and Stengle collided on the first turn checking Wilma Rudd, Tennessee Plates, Aston Jazz, Stengle and Darnum Destroyer. Darnum Destroyer and Stengle collided approaching the home turn. Darnum Destroyer raced wide in the home straight.

A post-race sample was taken from Alpine Butterfly - winner of the event. 

Lady Wendy Hook was quick to begin.  Pollard Flyer and Rushes Raw collided approaching the first turn.  Larkin Bale and Xandra Bale collided on the first turn.  Larkin Bale was checked off Xandra Bale approaching the home turn.  Speedy Mouse was checked off Tilting Tilly approaching the home turn.  Tilting Tilly and Larkin Bale collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds. Pollard Flyer and Rushes Raw collided entering the home straight. Tilting Tilly and Larkin Bale collided in the home straight.

Locked And Ready was quick to begin.  Joe’s Entity, Drakensberg Dot, Tail’s Up, Aston Kayee and Captain Cruiser collided soon after the start.  Captain Cruiser crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Tail’s Up.  Tail’s Up was checked off Aston Kayee on the first turn.  Joe’s Entity contacted the running rail on the first turn and collided with Elswyk Shadow checking both greyhounds.  Aston Kayee was checked off Elswyk Shadow approaching the home turn.  Tail’s Up crossed out on the home turn.  Drakensberg Dot and Aston Kayee collided entering the home straight checking both greyhounds.  Locked And Ready raced wide in the home straight.  

Joe’s Entity underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

Nicholas Rose was quick to begin.  Rebel May Road was slow to begin.  Impending and Baggy’s Gold collided soon after the start.  Hurricane Miami faltered on the first turn.  Hurricane Miami and Baby Pechey collided on the home turn.  Count Me In and Baggy’s Gold collided several times in the home straight.

Hurricane Miami underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right monkey muscle.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
