Master Logan, Downton Ivy and Got My Star were quick to begin.

Sally Sugar underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 10.  Sally Sugar was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury.  A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Big John was slow to begin.

Just Admit It checked off Hokkaido Miss soon after the start.  Rogue Temptation, Spring Empire and Fab Nine collided approaching the first turn.  Rogue Temptation, Spring Empire, Big John, Just Admit It and Brazen Crow collided on the first turn; checking Spring Empire and Brazen Crow.  Big John, Just Admit It and Rogue Temptation collided approaching the home turn, checking Rogue Temptation.

Mr Joshua McDonald was issued with a warning for failing to follow the starter's orders when boxing Brazen Crow, pursuant to GAR 51.

Mr Ian Bibby was fined $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound, Crymelon Comet pursuant to GAR 33.

Mr Mark Giddings requested the removal of an early race endorsement for Shanlyn Bear.  The Stewards approved the request after an examination prior to racing by the on–track veterinarian and was passed fit to race.

Silver Brute was quick to begin.
