All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.
Crymelon Libby – New declared weight of 26.8 kg, last raced at 25.2 kg.
Master Logan, Downton Ivy and Got My Star were quick to begin.
Sally Sugar and Crymelon Libby collided soon after the start. Sally Sugar checked off Crymelon Libby approaching the first turn. Master Logan and Got My Star collided on the first turn. Sally Sugar raced wide approaching the home turn and lost ground.
Sally Sugar underwent a post–race veterinary examination and was re–examined following race 10. Sally Sugar was found to have a left foreleg wrist injury. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Sally Sugar - unplaced in the event.
