All persons attending today wore facemasks when required, checked in, observed social distance requirements, and provided satisfactory evidence of double vaccination or exemption under the State Government’s mandatory vaccination directions (as of 26 November 2021) that in-turn, permitted entry to the venue.

Brian Basilisa and Green Opal were slow to begin.

Saldora and Bunding Boy collided soon after the start checking Saldora.  Bahrose, Oboya Bale and Wendy Witch collided soon after the start.  Wendy Witch checked off Oboya Bale approaching the first turn checking Bunding Boy.  Wendy Witch checked off Saldora on the first turn checking Bunding Boy.  Bahrose, Oboya Bale and Green Opal collided on the first turn checking Bahrose.  Green Opal turned its head outwards and visibly eased approaching the home turn checking Bahrose, Oboya Bale, Wendy Witch, Brian Basilisa and Saldora, causing Green Opal to fall.  Wendy Witch checked off Saldora entering the home straight.

Green Opal underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a lumbo-sacral injury to the left side, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to trainer Mr Neil Lavelle, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), Green Opal was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr. Lavelle pleaded guilty to the charge, Green Opal was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

Zambora Charlie and Patriot Earhart were slow to begin.

Air Race Ace checked off Patriot Earhart approaching the first turn.  Monique Keeping checked off Vance Bale on the first turn.  

Rothwell Horse was slow to begin. 

Taste The Gold checked off Ximena Bale approaching the first turn.  Romina Bale checked off Piscopo Bale on the first turn checking Ysabel Bale. Ysabel Bale checked off Romina Bale on the first turn checking Rothwell Horse, Ximena Bale, Taste The Gold and Ambrose Bale.  Rothwell Horse checked off Ysabel Bale approaching the home turn.  Romina Bale and Big Blazer collided entering the home straight.

Arby's Lucy – New declared weight of 28.0 kg, last raced at 29.2 kg.

Tarp Welder and Jagger Bale collided soon after the start. Jagger Bale, Arby's Lucy and Rogue Temptation collided approaching the first turn checking Arby's Lucy.  Tarp Welder, Rogue Temptation and Jumping Jack collided approaching the first turn checking Rogue Temptation and Jumping Jack. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Rush Out. 

Rush Out, Sagacious and Aston Profit collided soon after the start.  Orson Mick checked off Destini Saxon on the first turn checking Rush Out.  Orson Mick and Pai Gow Poker collided approaching the home turn.  

Lochinvar Jazz was slow to begin.

Keep It Blue and Mepunga Mustang collided soon after the start. 

A sample was taken from Alcindor upon arrival at the course.

Ernie Prang checked off Blue Bandana soon after the start checking Aston Wonder.  Peaky Pub galloped on Ernie Prang approaching the first turn checking Yamasaki Bale.  Ernie Prang checked off Yamasaki Bale on the first turn.  Yamasaki Bale checked off Peaky Pub on the home turn checking Ernie Prang.  Ticket To Venus and Arran Victory collided in the home straight.  

You Ember, Sudoku Cobra and Weblec Flare collided in the front straight.  Kiss Your Lips, Ephemeral and Osprey Rose collided in the front straight.  Sudoku Cobra and Weblec Flare collided on the first turn.  You Ember and Weblec Flare collided on the second turn. She's So Kind turned its head outwards and visibly eased checking Osprey Rose on the home turn.

She's So Kind underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a left triangle injury, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to kennel representative, Mr Marcus Lloyd regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn and in the home straight.  Acting under the provisions of GAR 69B (1), She's So Kind was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Lloyd pleaded not guilty to the charge, She's So Kind was found guilty and must perform a Satisfactory Trial in accordance with GAR 69B (1) and pursuant to GAR 72, before any future nomination will be accepted.

A sample was taken from Balts Obsession upon arrival at the course.

Explosive Yaala, Gladiator Hulk and Aston Hebe collided soon after the start.  Gladiator Hulk checked off Aston Hebe approaching the first turn.  Currawong and Aston Hebe collided approaching the home turn.  Gladiator Hulk galloped on Explosive Yaala on the home turn severely checking Explosive Yaala.  Thunder Dash checked off Who Did That approaching the winning post.  

Explosive Yaala underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have abrasions to the left hock and gastroc.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed. 

Naomi Butterfly was slow to begin.

Gazer's Lane and Happy Lass collided on the first turn checking Happy Lass causing Happy Lass to tail off.

Happy Lass underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right hock fracture.  A 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards delayed the all clear to confer with the judge that Happy Lass completed the event.  Following consultation between all parties, Stewards were satisfied that Happy Lass had  completed the Event and gave the "all clear".

Kraken Jock and Defiance were quick.  Blackpool Homer went up with the lids and slow to begin.

Kraken Jock and Zanfrey Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Zanfrey Bale and Defiance collided entering the home straight.
