Stengle was quick to begin.  Zipping Aura was slow to begin.  Honeycomb and Smoke Show collided approaching the first turn.  Smoke Show, City Life and Lady Jayde collided on the first turn checking Smoke Show and City Life.  Honeycomb crossed out on the first turn and collided with Lady Jayde, severely checking Honeycomb.  Lady Jayde was checked off Smoke Show on the home turn. Honeycomb crossed out on the home turn and raced wide in the home straight.

Audacious Stell, Don’t Tell Him, Free Ride and Impress Browning were slow to begin.  Don’t Tell Him and Free Ride collided approaching the first turn.  Jay Jay Lopez and Bella Sugar collided on the first turn.  Dont Tell Him and Free Ride collided approaching the home turn checking both greyhounds. Jay Jay Lopez was checked off Impress Browning approaching the home turn.  Audacious Stell and Don’t Tell Him raced wide in the home straight.

Noble Stone - Late scratching at 7.14pm after Stewards became aware of an anomaly with the greyhound’s weight following the finalisation of kennelling.  Noble Stone was subseqently vetted and found to be dehydrated.  A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Jazz and Pride And Joy were slow to begin.  Aston Director and Willing Wilma collided soon after the start.

Moment To Ballet was quick to begin.  Elswyk Shadow was slow to begin.  My Gem and Avery collided several times approaching the first turn.  Moment To Ballet was checked off Lady Rozina Hook in the first turn.  Our Elly Bye was checked off Classic Touch entering the home straight.  Our Elly Bye crossed out and raced wide in the home straight.  My Gem and Fergusta Bale raced wide approaching the winning post.

Nova’s Way was slow to begin.  One’s Obsession was checked off Ha Ha Magoo approaching the first turn.  No Tax was checked off Ha Ha Magoo on the first turn.  Nova’s Way was checked off No Tax on the home turn.  Ha Ha Magoo raced wide in the home straight.

It’s A Drama and Dancing Cassie were quick to begin.  Allan Coe, Aston Sylvie and Flying Surprise were slow to begin.  Stromboli and Minoli Magic collided approaching the first turn.  It’s A Drama galloped on Stromboli on the first turn checking both greyhounds.

Stromboli underwent a post race veterinary examination and no apparent injury was reported.

How High Austin was quick to begin.  Destini Bonfire was slow to begin.  Roll Your Eyes, Destini Bonfire and Armatree Arrow collided soon after the start checking Destini Bonfire.  Elswyk Jordy and Hurricane Pete collided soon after the start.  Hurricane Pete was checked off Armatree Arrow on the first turn causing Hurricane Pete to brush the running rail.  Armatree Arrow clipped the heels of Elswyk Jordy on the home turn and again entering the home straight.  How High Austin, Roll Your Eyes and Destini Bonfire raced wide in the home straight.
