Steward's Report
The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1 1/2 minutes whilst wildlife were removed from the track.
Dr. Mumma, Boston Garden and Smart As Jack were slow to begin. Dr. Mumma and Indy Honey collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Mumma which contacted the running rail. Smart As Jack and Aston Tango collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Tynslee Bale and Boston Garden collided on the first turn.
Dr. Mumma underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a spike wound on the right hind leg and abrasions on right hind toes. A 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Post race samples were taken from Compliance (1st) and Orson Mick (2nd).
